FAQ

What is BOSSFIGHT?

BOSSFIGHT is a retro arcade on top of a memecoin loop. Trading fees damage a boss. When a boss falls, 70% of its health goes to a buyback budget that buys the token and sends it to the dead address, and 30% is saved in the Rage Reserve. Every fifth boss releases the whole reserve into the buyback budget for a Mega Burn. The arena reads the BossGame contract on Elysium. The numbers you see are the contract's numbers.

How does boss damage work?

Damage is the HYPE fee the game contract receives, not the size of the trade. Fees arrive in batches: anyone can call the contract to claim them and apply them as damage. Visual hits can be exaggerated so a tiny fee is readable. The printed number is the fee.

Do buys and sells both contribute?

Yes, if the pool charges a fee on that swap. The game contract receives the creator share of the pool fees as one aggregated amount. It does not know which wallet traded, so per-wallet damage needs an indexer that reads the pool swaps.

What fees are counted?

Native HYPE fees credited to the game contract. Anything sent to the contract in HYPE is also counted as damage at the next sync. The pool's own fee rate is set by the launch platform, not by the boss contract.

How much health does a boss have?

Boss 1 has 2 HYPE, then 4, 8, 16 and 32. From boss 5 onward every boss has 32 HYPE, forever. There is no further growth and no higher cap.

How does the buyback work?

Each defeat adds 70% of that boss's health to one shared buyback budget, and every fifth boss adds the whole Rage Reserve on top. Buybacks are separate calls that anyone can make: at most 0.5 HYPE per call, at least 10 minutes apart, and only if the pool price is close to its recent average. Spending one 32 HYPE boss's 70% takes about 45 tranches, so at least about 7.5 hours. A Mega Burn takes longer.

Does the next boss wait for the burn?

No. The next boss spawns in the same transaction as the defeat, and any extra damage carries over to it. The buyback budget drains in the background, tranche by tranche.

What happens to the bought tokens?

They are sent to the dead address 0x…dEaD, where nobody can move them. Total supply stays at the minted number. Circulating supply goes down. The arena shows the tokens bought by executed tranches, read from the contract's buyback history.

What is the Rage Reserve?

30% of every defeated boss is saved in the Rage Reserve. On every fifth boss (5, 10, 15…) the contract moves the whole reserve into the buyback budget: the Mega Burn. So over each five-boss cycle every fee ends up in buybacks. The reserve never refills a boss and nobody can withdraw it. Like the rest of the budget, a Mega Burn is spent in tranches of at most 0.5 HYPE every 10 minutes.

What happens if trading volume declines?

The boss stays standing. Nothing manufactures fees, and the Rage Reserve is never used as damage.

Can a buyback fail?

A tranche can revert, for example during the cooldown, if the price moved too far from its recent average, or if the output would be too low. Then the budget is untouched and the next tranche can try again. The boss is not affected.

Can the rules change?

No. The game contract has no owner and its parameters are immutable: boss health, the 70/30 split, the Mega Burn every fifth boss and the buyback limits cannot be changed by anyone. Fee routing still depends on the launch platform's own contracts, including a fee escrow that has its own owner.

What happens after level 30?

The Final King is the last hand-painted story boss. After it falls, Endless Mode continues with bosses built from a fixed kit, so level 1000 is the same boss every time. On-chain every one of them has 32 HYPE of health.

How does Endless Mode work?

Story bosses 1 through 30 are individual designs across six worlds. From level 31 the arena builds bosses from bodies, horns, armor, eyes, weapons, wings, tentacles and palettes. Worlds and names are presentation only. The contract just counts bosses.

Is the contract audited?

No. There is no audit report. The contract source is not yet verified on a public explorer. An audit and source verification are planned milestones, not completed ones.

Which blockchain does it use?

Elysium, the HYPE-gas EVM chain. The arena reads the BossGame contract there through a community RPC. Check any address you are offered against the one this site uses. Anyone else offering an address as the BOSSFIGHT contract is unconfirmed.

Can users lose money?

Yes. Fees, slippage, failed routes and price moves can all cost money. A burn is not a promise that the price rises. This site never asks for your wallet and never moves your funds. It is not financial advice.

Do I need a wallet to look around?

No. The arena only reads public data from the contract. Nothing is signed.
